About

Far back in 1930, Slavko Badel established the company Braća Badel for vinegar, alcohol and liquor production in Sesvete near Zagreb.

Through history and changes in the political system, the company acted independently or jointly within larger systems (Marijan Badel, Badel Vinoprodukt). In 1992 the independent joint-stock company BADEL was created, reaffirming thus the initial tradition of the manufacturing company in Sesvete.

In addition to the technical and technological capacity for alcohol, vinegar and inactive yeast production, in 1993 a new factory for alcohol production and bottling was built.

BADEL’s core business is the production of refined ethyl alcohol, inactive yeast, vinegar and liquor. Fermentation products, alcohols, have gained an ever greater market presence due to their outstanding quality, while protein powder was acknowledged by the international market as well (export into the US and Great Britain).

In autumn 2009, TITA Group was established as a company in charge of member strategy management and supervision, making BADEL a part of the group including LABUD – detergent, cosmetics and chemical products factory, and KUTRILIN TPV – additives and detergent, oil and sugar industry raw materials factory.

Eighty years of tradition are what makes BADEL a comprehensive manufacturer systematically developing and setting trends in the vinegar and liquor segment, proved by the success of the recognisable KISKO vinegar and BADEL liquor product line, as well as our rich industrial brand.
